Monosem offers a range of fertilizer and insecticide solutions for your planter. We have a variety of liquid tank size options, as well as squeeze and piston pumps. We can also offer a complete dry fertilizer solution on variety of models. Placement is not a problem with multiple placement options from coulters to knives.
Monosem offers liquid tanks in all different sizes for 3-point and pull type planters. Liquid tanks are even available on select stacking toolbar.

We have a wide selection of in furrow placements ranging from off the cast point that puts the fertilizer below the seed to the starter fertilizer tube that places the fertilizer directly on top of the seed. For row unit mounted 2” by 2” fertilizer Monosem offers Sunco Nutri Mate III with or without residue managers. This option is only available on 7×7” planters with wide linkage.
Monosem offers dry fertilizer options for NG Plus, NC, and MS on select frames. We have multiple different tank capacities and outlets to suit most configurations.
The dry fertilizer meter is made of plastic with two options of steel augers.
The standard augers are blue and meter approximately 68 to 290 lbs/ac of fertilizer for an inter-row spacing of 30”.
The high output augers are red and meter approximately 160 to 450 lbs/ac of fertilizer for an inter-row spacing of 30”

The 5″ x 5″ double disc opener has a spring safety system and can adjust the depth.

The 7″ x 7″ double disc opener has a larger cutting disc with a smaller disc to minimize the opening disturbing less soil.
Monosem offers two different systems when it comes to applying insecticide. Microsem and US insecticide system. Microsem is mounted off the toolbar above the MS or NG plus row unit and can distribute to either one or two rows based on planter configuration. This system is extremely precise in distributing product. The US insecticide system is mounted directly behind the seed hopper and is driven off a double sprocket that also drives the meter. This system is only available on single row configurations on NG plus.
The Microsem system with worm gear metering system ensures a very accurate metering of micro-granules. Its simple design enables an easy and reliable use. Multi-purpose, the Microsem is compatible with the majority of micro-granulate products on the market (insecticides).
Insecticide Microsem
The principle of the Microsem metering resides in the auger system. The micro-granules contained in the hopper are taken up by 2 augers (1). The agitators (2) enable a regular feed of these augers. A finger wheel (3) then spread the product uniformly in the insecticide tube (4).
Insecticide Tube
The insecticide Microsem tube (5) is placed just behind the shoe so as to distribute the product in the planting line.
Adjustment of the Microsem
The adjustment of the Microgranulators is made using a 3-level gearbox. It offers a wide range of adjustments (40 ratios) to meet with the majority of requirements.
Emptying of the Hoppers
The capacity of the Microsem hoppers is 33 or 50 lbs. The trapdoors (6) and the chute (7) enable simple and easy emptying of the remaining product.
The US insecticide system comes in 70 lb capacity and can distributed directly behind the seed or further back next to the closing wheels.
